Bio PhotoPastry Peaks, a blog highlighting the thoughts and views of a pastry chef, began as a project for one of my MA Communication graduate school classes at Queens University of Charlotte.  The course, called Creativity and Networks, focused on the human connections we make and how those connections foster innovation.  The purpose of this blog, to create a community of followers who share my interests, has sparked the curiosity of people around the world.   As a Chef Instructor at Johnson & Wales University, I am fortunate to have a profession that fully embodies my passion.  Daily, I am surrounded by abundant creativity, masterful skill, quality ingredients, curious students, and colleagues who share my love of food.  Please share your food stories, thoughts and opinions with me.  Let’s build that connection.
